New Zealand Glacial Clay is a high purity Bentonite Clay that has been processed to ensure very low levels of impurities and grit. The clay is sourced from Canterbury, New Zealand.
Ancient Volcanic Ash & Fresh Glacial Water
This unique deposit of New Zealand nontronite was formed through the combination of ancient volcanic ash and fresh glacial water at the foothills of the Southern Alps over three million years ago. Due to the nature of the volcanic ash and the fresh glacial water environment, it also contains other healing clays such as kaolinite, illite and montmorillinite.
Bentonite Clay
Bentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash. It is unique in that it has the ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. When mixed with water, its electrical components change, allowing it to absorb toxins. Bentonite is thus often used to detoxify toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and other impurities from the skin and body.
